Physical Description		Talia has a slender and athletic build, the physique of someone who regularly works out and takes care of their body. At 5’5”, she’s a little bit on the shorter side, but her toned muscles and proper posture tends to cancel out any impression of fragility. As a career pilot, she’s used to wearing form fitting flight suits, and prefers the feel of them on her body than anything loose, which also extends to her duty uniform whenever she can get away with it. General Overview

A former fighter pilot who traded in her tiny cockpit for a wide open helm station and the opportunity to rise to command, Talia Noreen is a confident, self motivated person who knows exactly what she wants and will do anything to achieve it. Having been in a leadership role in her fighter wing before her transfer to flight operations on the USS Denver, she’s used to dealing with all kinds of people in a supervising role, even if that experience is still limited given her age. She connects well with people and isn’t a stickler for rules, but she knows which ones can be bent and which ones are absolutely inviolable and forms her actions around both accordingly. While a very disciplined person in terms of her routine and habits, Talia knows better than to expect the same exact degree from everyone she serves with. But at the very least, she demands the bare minimum of promptness, efficiency, and responsibility from others. She absolutely hates having to deal with repetitive mistakes that could easily be avoided, and is annoyed with people who are inconsiderate of others.

Personal History

Talia had always been fascinated with the notion of flight. Her parents both ran a small private aerospace research firm where they tested designs of spacecraft that would work as efficiently as possible in both the vacuum of space and in an atmosphere. As far as she could remember, she had always been around flying machines, and dreamed of the day when she could fly one herself. Starfleet provided the opportunity for her to fulfill her dreams and after graduating the Academy, she immediately joined the Starfighter Corps, spending her time being assigned on various carriers and station posts. However, it was also around this time when she began to discover a different field that began to interest her; command. Although she loved to fly, the idea of commanding her own starship one day was greatly appealing. So she spent her time earning qualifications for command through bridge duty, until an opportunity to serve as a helm officer and a senior watch officer came up on the USS Denver. It was during the assignment that she would receive the most intense experience in her career, navigating the ship through combat action and seemingly neverending contact as they were battered to hell and she did her best to keep them flying whenever she was on bridge watch. Amidst the hellish experience was something she never expected to hear about, interim executive command of a vessel. Knowing this was the best shot she’d have at earning command merit for herself, she hurriedly put up her name for consideration and was luckily accepted to become the Executive Officer of the USS Saratoga-A; a Miranda class starship.
